JC Football: LAVC Goes Undefeated

After a 9-2 record and a Golden State Bowl victory in 2015, Los Angeles Valley College  has gone 10-0 during the 2016 season.  Image by PopScout.

LAVC football is back.  Under Head Coach Robert Tucker, the Monarchs have gone 10-0, looking very, very impressive on both sides of the ball.  They run a no huddle attack that keeps defenses on their heels throughout the game. On the opposite side of the ball, their defense is top notch – ready to drop the hammer on every play. Smash mouth football indeed. But at the end of the day,  you only go as far as your QB will take you and the Monarchs have one of the best Freshman QB’s in JC Football.

They say in the game of football, you only go as far as your QB will take you.  Freshman QB Christian Jorgensen has led the Monarchs to an undefeated record thus far. Put us on your back young man.  Image by PopScout.

#2 Freshman QB Christian Jorgensen  – who stands 6’3 – has been a stud all year long.  The kid is from Bellingham, WA showing poise in the pocket, accuracy, and the ability to run the no huddle offense like a soldier.  If you take a look at the Monarchs’ roster, from top to bottom, they’ve brought in players from across the country who’ve blended well, showing great team chemistry and spirit on the football field.  The team takes on Southwestern 6pm Saturday November 19, 2016 for the American Division Championship Bowl.

The game will be played at LAVC and if you haven’t had a chance to see their squad in action, then you’ll have a chance to witness a very solid JC football team.  You also have to take a look at the upgrades the campus is making…beautiful indeed.  Valley College is on the map you feel me. Look for them to come out firing on all cylinders against a Southwestern team that comes to town with a 9-1 record, so it should be a great match-up.

Take a look at a few clips as LAVC takes on a solid Citrus team. LAVC is a joy to watch.  Come show some love Saturday November 19, 2016 at 6pm.

East LA man handles West LA for conference bragging rights.

JC football in the Sate of California looks good.  Schools are implementing some sound schemes and game play as they try to rejuvenate careers of those lost in the shuffle  and unable to gain that elusive scholarship.  East LA looks sharp as the have reeled off 6 start victories going into their Saturday November 11, 2016 match up against a very stout Glendale College.  Glendale has one of the toughest defenses in Cali JC and should be able to hold East LA under 30 points or so.  But if East LA and their offensive weapons get on a roll, look out.

Take a look at a few highlights of East LA against West LA on a day West LA just didn’t have enough man power to stop anything East LA drew up.  It was literally like getting hit with everything but the kitchen sink.  Dishes anyone?

If you’re looking for a program to take your skills to the next level and compete on both sides of the ball, you may want to consider a look at JC Football in the State of California.  if you truly loge the game and feel as though you have the skills to make it no matter what adversity you’ve been through, then try your luck.  You can go to class and save a lot of money and still play the game you love.  You never know what the magic of the game has in store for you unless you give it a shot.

Here’s the first three quarters of East LA taking on West LA October 29, 2016.  We just couldn’t ear t watch the fourth quarter as well as some issues we were having with our equipment.  Technical difficulties you feel me.  But you can still get an idea of what East LA brings to the table which is a full course meal indeed.  Good luck East LA in your quest to reach a bowl game.
