Crespi (18-2, 5-0) @ Harvard Westlake (16-2, 4-0) 7pm

Harvard Westlake has a tough home crowd which should provide them with a nice home court advantage…which is sometimes what Boss Hogs from visiting teams feed off of.  Crespi Sr. PG Brandon Williams should be in beast mode tonight…just don’t forget your teammates. We’ve seen a lot of returners show up and out… but also disrupting the chemistry of clubs, who had established a style of play that was built upon moving the basketball and playing as one. Just want to make sure B-Dub stays focused, lets the game come to him, and remembers that he must be a leader and exude some PG duties and not just be a scoring threat all the time.  Pick and choose your spots.  Food for thought young man.  Enough of my ranting…HW is solid and has young studs in place for the next few years.  Their head coach David Rebibo is a gym rat who’s learned from the best in Crespi HC Russel White.  Will be interesting to see how many rabbits each one can pull out of their hat tonight and come away with first place in Mission league standings.

Our Pick
Harvard Westlake

avery-martinezSt Bernard (11-6, 0-2) @ Cantwell Sacred Heart (15-4, 0-1) 7pm

St, Bernard hit a road block, going 0-2 in their last two meetings.  Cantwell Sacred Heart has a young squad, as well as UTEP commit Avery Martinez.  Both teams will try to get a league win tonight with hopes of dethroning Bishop Montgomery.  Should be a fast paced, action packed contest with euros, step backs, and plenty of stop and pop action.  Look for Cantwell Sacred Heart to be just a tad more athletic for St Bernard.  6’9 Jr. Big man Romelle Mansel should be able to eat tonight but 6’8 F Teddy Ochieng from CSH might have something to say about who sets the table.  The two might have to meet at the rim to discuss their differences.   Dinner anyone?
