PopScout Scouting Report

We nick-name this young man ‘The set up man’. Not too many guards in Southern CA who can run a team like Darryl. He may be a bit oversized but his heart is as big as they come.  We’ve seen this young man mature over the past few years  – under the guidance of the LB Poly staff – which has paid huge dividends in the maturation of this young man’s game.  Shake and bake PG who likes to get others involved but not shy about pulling the trigger.  Lock down defender who’ll be a valuable asset to any D1 ball club considering a feisty, confident, and high character floor general.  Can get to the bucket and finish among the trees while wreaking havoc with his penetrating and dishing (i.e. the set up man). Will need to shake the internal demons about size issues but that’s something he has to work out with himself and the basketball Gods that be.  If this young man begins to truly believe in himself, PopScout feels he can be an All CIF selection, garnering  several D1 suitors by seasons end.  Be special young man.
