Chino Hills: Sitdown with Daijon Davis

6’9 SOPH Forward Onyeka Okongwu will be a major impact this season for Chino Hills – who look to keep the ball ( no pun) rolling without the help of McDonald’s All-American Lonzo Ball.  Image taken at the 2016 Nike 30th Annual Fairfax Summer tourney.

The Chino Hills camp has been a bit quiet this summer.  Choosing not to participate in any Vegas tournaments.  Doesn’t mean they haven’t been in the lab, getting those 10,000 hours in.  We did get a chance to catch up with Class of 2018 F Daijon Davis, who joined the club near the end of last season.  He gives us some insights on Chino Hills’ quest to go 70-0, looking to make a new identity without Magic Johnson like Zo (now at UCLA) and coach of the year Steve Baik (now at Fairfax).

Take a look at the interview as we interject a few clips of the Big Ballers VXT AAU Club. who we got a chance to see play this summer at Garden Grove, CA. The team has been incognito for most of the summer. Be on the look out ’cause if Gelo is healthy, Melo continues to do what a baby gotta do  – shake in bake and score from all levels, Elizjah Scoot is a beast as usual, and Big O plays window washer on the boards, then it’s going to be some BallisLife Moments indeed.  Get you camcorder ready!
