Narbonne advances to 1st CIF Open Division City Final

Take a look at Narbonne as they beat up on Fairfax.  Sorry Fairfax.  D’mauria Jones is a sleeper for Narbonne.  The 6’3 Senior Guard finishes on the break and shows good ball handling skills as well as knocking down the open jumper.  Should get some serious looks from major D1 schools.

Narbonne (23-6) advanced to the Championship Game of the CIF City Section Open Division after handing Fairfax their 4th loss of the season (26-4).  It didn’t look good early on as Fairfax had a difficult time scoring baskets and Narbonne capitalized on the opportunity.  They smelled blood.  Fairfax just didn’t have it on a night where Donald Gipson, their go to guy, couldn’t go because of an illness.  Fairfax now takes on Taft in a consolation game Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Narbonne faces Westchester, who beat Dorsey 65-57 to advance and set up a match up between two teams who have very similar styles.  It should be a very good game against two very good teams.
